What clothing should I wear?

[EDIT: JUL 2010]

Extra Curriculum Coursework (ECC) – Unless otherwised expressed, clients should wear their duty uniforms. If no duty uniform has been identified, wear clothing appropriate to your operating environment and the current weather conditions. In many cases, uniform requirements will be specified by One Shepherd staff. Comfortable boots are a must!

Common Core Curriculum (CCC) – One Shepherd maintains two uniforms: ACU (commercially called TRU) in OD green is the standard uniform, and BDU in Woodland camouflage pattern serves as the BLUFOR uniform.

Faculty, staff, and student members wear the standard One Shepherd uniform with OD green USGI Boonie hat, and medium brown suede-out military boots. The old OD green BDU has been "grandfathered" and is being phased out of use. If you joined One Shepherd's CCC prior to SEP 2010, you may continue to wear your BDU in OD green. However, we ask that when your BDU is no longer servicable, that you replace it with ACU.

Proper insignia is required. All insignia is subdued on the ACU. Color insignia is worn on the fleece jacket only. (See - http://1shepherd.com/_programs_courses/uniform.aspx)

The first name tape is worn over the wearer’s right breast pocket, flush with the sides of the BDU pocket width. Using that same width, the second name tape is worn centered and on the wearer’s right leg cargo flap. The third name tape is worn centered on the rear seam of the Boonie hat. The One Shepherd shoulder patch is worn on the left arm (BDU: centered on the shoulder seam, one inch down from the seam. ACU: centered on shoulder pocket Velcro.) A US flag is worn on the right arm in a similar manner as the One Shepherd shoulder patch.
